Nico Klene is a Senior Economist at ABN AMRO Group Economics. After studying General Economics at VU University, Amsterdam, he joined ABN Bank as an economist in 1980. Until mid-2010, he worked as an analyst for the eurozone, Germany and the Netherlands, as well as having the role of ECB watcher. Nico is now economist for the Netherlands at Group Economics and contributes to project studies. He also regularly appears on RTL-Z and chairs the Economic Cycle Panel of the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers.
