US deadlock drags on commodities

The US uncertainty weighs on commodity prices. No matter if imported volumes of commodities into China increase further (which was the case in September), market directions for most commodities will be dictated by developments in the US. Whether it is the US shutdown, debt ceiling or the Fed tapering decision, we must be prepared for more volatility and uncertainty in commodity prices ahead. For now we have to be aware that direction of most commodity marketsĀ  will not be triggered by fundamental shifts.
